Introduction to Knitting with Sarah Todd, 3/22

If you've never held knitting needles before, this class is for you. Designed for the (super-) beginner, this class will help you get comfortable with foundational techniques such as casting on and knit stitches. By the end of the class you'll learn make a scarf in the garter stitch pattern.

We've found that many folks already have knitting needles and are looking to learn how to use them. Please bring them if you have them, but if you don't you can purchase them at the shop.

Ticket: $50 / +$8 bamboo knitting needles for class

One skein of Caron worsted weight yarn is included in the base price. This is enough for you to complete a scarf project with techniques from the class. You can use 9- or 10-inch straight needles in size #11 (8.0 mm) or #13 (9.0 mm). You can also purchase our bamboo needles for the class for an additional $8.
