Join us to design your own porcelain figurines by artist Bonnie Lui. Bonnie will guide us through visualizing our designs for her fish figurine. We'll practice drawing facial expressions and an overall design for the body of the fish. We'll color in the figurine with acrylic markers and add dimension with color pencils.
As an optional extension of the class, we'll complete a cat design in the daruma style. Extra figurines are for sale to make more on your own time. All materials are provided! Just bring yourself!

Bonnie Lui is the founder and artist of Kayan Pepper Co. The name is a play on Bonnie's Cantonese name ka yan and the cooking spice cayenne pepper. Kayan Pepper Co makes gifts, original artwork, stationery, and apparel with a vintage, Asian-inspired feel that brings in Bonnie's influences from her personal background, illustrating books, and working in the animation industry.
