From Doodle to Drawing - 4/27

Do you ever feel stuck not knowing what to draw? Do you find a blank page
daunting? Does the feeling that it needs to be perfect stop you from starting?
Here’s where doodling comes in.

In this workshop, you will be guided through a series of fun doodling exercises to
get you started on drawing. You will learn techniques for creating forms out of
scribbles and basic shapes. We will explore different mark making techniques to
create expressive textures in your drawing. We will then bring these techniques
together to draw animals — even imaginary ones!

This workshop is structured for beginners, but all ages and skill levels are
welcome. Paper and a wide range of pencils, pens, and markers will be provided.

Nellie Le is an artist, illustrator, and cat lady from the San Gabriel Valley. She has
been working as a full-time artist for the past 10 years. Her work is influenced by
her love of animals and food. She has exhibited her work in galleries across the
