If you've never held a crochet hook before, this class is for you. Designed for the (super-) beginner, this class will help you get comfortable with foundational techniques such as yarn over, chain stitch, single crochet, crocheting in rows, and more! Right-handed? No problem! Left-handed? No problem! We'll provide all the materials for you to use. Just bring yourself.

David Orozco is a fiber artist based in Los Angeles. An active contributor to the Institute for Figuring's Crocheted Coral Reef project, David's fiber work based on mathematical ideas has been seen in museums and galleries from New York to Tokyo, from London to Sydney. As a core member of Yarn Bombing Los Angeles, his mischief has been seen in the streets of Los Angeles, at the Craft and Folk Art Museum, and other museums and galleries in town. David also leads the knitting circle at the North Figueroa Bookstore.
