Explore journaling as a form of private art, a way to experiment with writing and visual art without worrying about an audience. In this workshop, you’ll be guided through a series of prompts focused on noticing and honoring the small moments that make up our lives. Short readings from a range of authors will show you the possibilities of journaling and personal writing. We’ll also add visual art to the process with washi tape, drawing, and ephemera.
Coming right off her journaling workshop at Discover Nikkei at JANM earlier this year, Mia Nakaji Monnier is joining Nellita's Craft to share how we can thoughtfully keep our memories in a creative journal.
Sunday, March 30
11 am - 1 pm
Ticket: $40 bring your own journal / +$22 add on a soft cover plain Leuchtturn journal in Lilac, Sage, or Black.
