Little Tokyo has two 140-year old grapefruit trees that have witnessed the entire history of our neighborhood: Sunny and her sister tree. Every year, we pick their fruit as a community benefit. These trees are a symbol of our resilient, thriving community and they continue to bear fruit for future generations.
Sunny is designed by Monkey Pants and the Little Tokyo Community Council.
Stickers benefit the Little Tokyo Community Council and are weatherproof and waterproof.
Established in 1999, the Little Tokyo Community Council (LTCC) is the nonprofit community coalition of residents, businesses, and religious, cultural, and community organizations as well as other vested stakeholders in the Little Tokyo community.
